ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST I (Licensing Coordinator) Jobs in Catonsville, MD at State of Maryland

Florida Spine and Pain Center, a PartnerCare affiliated company, is seeking a Part-Time Front Desk Coordinator, to join our growing and established practice in Hollywood, FL.

Our practice focuses on taking care of the patient with a comprehensive plan, delivering high customer service, keeping patients safe and well-informed and reducing patients’ pain as much as possible.

Our team of physicians, nurses, anesthesiologists, and staff are dedicated to ensuring that patients can improve their quality of life with pain relief that involves the use of cutting-edge technology.

Our Front Office Coordinator is on the front line and the face of our practices. They are our ambassadors and are pivotal in initiating the best possible patient experience. They are responsible for overall front desk activities including management of the reception area and meeting areas, customer service, phones, mail, and office supplies. This position trains, supervises, and schedules administrative volunteers, coordinates front office coverage, and any additional administrative support necessary for the practice.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Provides exceptional customer service in person and on the phone to patients, families, staff, vendors, and the community.
Greeting patients.
Collecting patient information.
Verifying patient insurance.
Maintaining patient accounts and records.
Responsible for scheduling new patient appointments and follow up appointments.
Oversees the reception area to ensure effective telephone and mail communications both internally and externally to maintain professional image.

We prefer at least two years of experience but are willing to train newer teammates with the right focus on patient care, service, and teamwork.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma

Bilingual preferred but not required (Spanish).

Florida Spine and Pain Center (FSPC) was founded in 2004 by Dr. Lowell S. Davis in Miramar, FL. FSPC provides a broad variety of medical pain management services, including injections, platelet-rich plasma, nerve blocks, radio frequency nerve ablation, and prolotherapy, among others.
