Position Summary

The Sr. Administrative Assistant supports Banner leadership team department activities ranging from basic clerical tasks to complex meeting and event coordination, travel scheduling and special projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

Perform a variety of administrative tasks to support Banner’s Leadership Team in Sales, Finance, Operations, and other departments as needed.
Independently manage complex calendars and schedules.
Coordinate all aspects of on- and off-site company meetings, including logistics, communication, and hospitality needs.
Lead the planning and implementation of large-scale company events as required.
Act as primary point-of-contact for the travel system, providing system training and managing bookings for flights, hotels and rental cars.
Manage relationships with vendors, caterers, hotels and other partners.
Create, maintain, process, collect, and distribute detailed sales, operations and other reports or documentation.
Serve as Subject Matter Expert for the Content Management System, including document retrieval and archiving.
Manage special projects and other duties as defined by Leadership & the Executive Support Manager.
Occasionally provide backup support for the front desk/receptionist, including greeting and checking in visitors and routing incoming phone calls.

Required

A high school diploma or equivalent is required
Minimum 5 years previous experience in an administrative or support role, preferably aligned with a sales team
Ability to work independently to complete tasks and work collaboratively as part of a team
Perform daily tasks with minimal supervision, direction or input
Manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization
Willingness to travel occasionally to support meetings and events
Availability for occasional evening/weekend commitments
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite & GoToMeeting/Webinar

Preferred

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred
Previous experience planning complex, large events
Previous experience booking corporate travel for various departments
