Seattle Public Utilities’ People, Culture, and Community (PCC) Branch is recruiting for a detail-oriented, organized, and highly resourceful Administrative Staff Assistant. The successful candidate will serve a pivotal role in our administrative operations, provide a wide range of high-level administrative support to the PCC Branch, and serve as one of the core members of the administrative support team.

The Administrative Staff Assistant will support the day-to-day administration of the PCC Branch and be the main administrative support to Corporate Performance, SPU’s division that leads Information Technology. This role will build trust, credibility, and effective working relationships as they serve as the liaison and central contact for executive management as well as other SPU divisions and city departments.

Job Responsibilities

Working in partnership with the Sr. Executive Assistant, support the Branch with a wide variety of clerical and administrative duties in support of Branch operations.

Support our Corporate Performance Division with direct administrative assistance to their Division Director including but not limited to, calendaring, meeting coordination, training and travel, project, HR activities, accounting, and deadline tracking.

Manage Customer Service Responses (CSR’s) on behalf of SPU/PCC Branch which includes disseminating and accurately routing requests, research SPU systems data compilation, and drafting and/or editing responses to customers on behalf of management staff.

Utilize various computer applications and software packages; develop, enter data, maintain, and generate reports from a database or network system; design, maintain, and utilize data to develop reports using spreadsheet software; create, fo…
