The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for an Administrator to join our Qube Heavy Lift Team assisting with Administration duties

Role Location: Port of Brisbane

Role Type: Full Time

The Administration Officer will provide administrative support and perform specific and general administrative duties to support the wider Heavy Lift team.

Key responsibilities:

Office Management: Handling phone calls, emails, and correspondence, managing calendars and schedules, and maintaining office records and files.

Record Keeping: Organizing and archiving documents, both physical and digital, and ensuring data integrity.

Meeting Coordination: Scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and arranging conference calls or events.

Travel Arrangements: Booking flights, accommodations, and other travel-related logistics.

Office Supply Management: Ordering and maintaining office supplies and ensuring the proper functioning of office equipment.

Support to Staff: Providing general support to staff members, such as answering questions, assisting with tasks, and ensuring a positive work environment.

HR Support: Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and other HR-related tasks.

Financial Support: Assisting with invoicing, expense tracking, and other financial tasks.

Communication: Serving as a point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, handling communications and ensuring clear and concise information flow.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following.

Previous experience as an Administrator within a logistics, resources, construction, or similar industry (particularly in a site-based role) would be highly regarded.

High level of organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure to meet business critical deadlines and deliver results

Professional interpersonal and organisational skills and able to work independently as well as part of a team and build relationships

Strong written and verbal communication skills
