This role is a permanent contract, working within a trust and corporate services team to support high-net-worth individuals and their families.
About your role
You’ll be working in a friendly and progressive environment as a member of the team to undertake a broad range of duties including:
assisting, setting up and maintaining statutory records including minutes of directors and shareholders meetings, trustee resolutions
undertaking day to day bookkeeping for companies and trusts to trial balance
assisting in liaison with bankers over remittance of money, deposit accounts and investment transactions
opening trust and company bank accounts
liaising with brokers over investment transactions and settlement instructions
assisting and after training, have a working knowledge of the formation of limited companies and setting up of new trusts
liaising with clients and associates by telephone and written correspondence
ensuring that all documentation regarding client review is provided to client reviewers in a timely manner
ensuring proper completion of all aspects under the PlainSail timekeeping system
We’re looking for someone with:
A minimum of 5 GCSEs, including grade C or above in Maths and English
Good communication skills and ability to develop effective relationships at all levels
Effective organisational and planning skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
A collaborative, collegiate approach to work
A dedicated, proactive and professional approach with commitment to best practice
The ability to work independently, use initiative and to prioritise work
The ability to work in a timely manner, and to meet deadlines
A desire to learn and develop their knowledge and skills, including professional study if desired
Proficiency in IT
