As Assistant Front Office Manager We Rely On You Responsible for all activities of the Front Office as well as other hotel activities relating to theeffective and efficient operation of thehotel.
Examines the Morning Report forinformation and accuracy, including status and availability ofrooms.
Checks with the Front Office Service Leaders to ensure that reservations are inspected, and blockingsare done as per procedure, attends to room changes, establishesstatus of available rooms and plan the day’swork.
Ensure morning check-outs are proceedingsmoothly.
Checks specific GTC guests (VIPs) rooms at random and informs Housekeeping of anydeficiencies.
Checks the bulletin board toensure that all activities/ functions for the day-to-day arecorrectly posted.
Authorizes all rebates andpaid outs according to the limit set  all incidents, providesdepartment heads with reports and takes action to avoid repetitionof any incident, accident, theft andcomplaint.
Identify
staff training
requirementsand service improvements areas.
Ensures maximumsafety of the guests and employee during emergencies. Theprotection of the hotel’s interest must be of majorconcern to him/her.
Promptly handlesguests’ feedback and informs the necessary departmentswhere appropriate.
Will make decisions on allmatter involving guest contact with hotel employees. In the absenceof the Front Office Manager, he/she has full authority in alldecisions.
Makes advanced preparation for anorderly transition from the morning to the eveningshift.
Assumes other duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager.
Monitors and liaisesclosely with Housekeeper in charge to rectify the room discrepancyregularly.
Monitors and follow-up on expecteddepartures.
Ensures that charges reflected inthe “Interface Lost Postings” permanent folioare correctly transferred to the respectiveguests.
