Auditor (Administrative Officer 1) Jobs in Delaware County, PA at Pennsylvania – Pennsylvania Government

The employee in this position will work within an assigned geographic area to perform audits and oversight at Driver License Centers and ensure processes and procedures are being followed. The incumbent must be able to work independently with little direct supervision; however, decision-making is based on established procedures and must be referred to appropriate management personnel if problems or circumstances fall outside of established procedures and processes.

This position involves travels throughout various driver license sites within the Commonwealth to conduct audits and provide on-site monitoring of transactions and activities taking place at each site. The incumbent will compile reports of findings, analyze data, and identify trends in order to make appropriate recommendations. The auditor will perform any necessary follow-up as a result of audit findings and monitors any implemented changes in procedures or policies to ensure gaps are closed and communicate initial findings and status reports to appropriate management staff.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 75 hours bi-weekly.

Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday, with 60-minute lunch.

This position is eligible for an alternate work schedule.

Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days per week.  In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Media.

Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor’s degree; or

Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:

You must be able to perform essential job functions.
