Full Job Description

StoneCreek Health and Rehabilitation is a 120 bed skilled nursing facility that is seeking a Business Office Manager (BOM) to join our team of dedicated health care professionals.

The primary function oof the Business Office Manager is to communicate and manage all aspects of a patient’s financial responsibilities during their stay. This includes billing and subsequent reimbursement, credit and collections and other financial matters as directed by the Administrator. Previous experience in long term care and knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and other insurances preferred.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintain the facility accounting system that accurately reflects the facility’s accounts receivable.

Handle billing of various payor sources

Attending weekly and monthly facility meetings

Interpret and present the facility’s billing practices and procedures to residents, family memebers, visitors and government agencies as needed.

Review and process adjustments, write-offs and refunds as appropriate.

Work with Interdisciplinary team to ensur FL2 documentation and Medicaid applications
