DFP Recruitment is seeking a highly adaptable and experienced administrative professional to support a critical development team with one of our State Government clients. If successful, you’ll coordinate day-to-day administrative functions, support leadership, and help ensure smooth operations across a fast-paced, stakeholder-focused environment.

This role suits a highly organised professional who thrives on variety, builds strong relationships, and takes pride in delivering high-quality business support.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative and business support to senior leaders
  • Manage calendars, inboxes, correspondence, and meeting coordination
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and track actions and commitments
  • Liaise with internal teams, government stakeholders, and industry partners
  • Support onboarding, events, travel, and team logistics
  • Identify and implement improvements to administrative processes

About you

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach
  • Confident using MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Requirements

  • Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration (or equivalent experience)
  • Demonstrated experience in administrative or business support roles
  • Ability to work autonomously and use sound judgement
