Summary of the Position

The Buying Admin main responsibility is to provide clerical back up and administrative support to the Buying Team. This role is key in ensuring correct implementation of the buying and merchandising processes as well as pricing and financial accuracy.

Responsibilities

Tasks & Responsibilities

Ensure seamless application of the monthly buying procedure

Create accurate product information and vendor purchase orders to time critical deadlines.

Document costs and manage the retail database

Liaise with department secretaries to ensure maintenance of purchase orders

Assist in SKU maintenance when required

Maintain relevant seasonal catalogues and price lists for all suppliers

Assist Buyers in the preparation of vendor meetings

Liaise with Buyer Assistants to develop best practices

Build good working relationships with other departments in order to efficiently complete tasks requiring cross-functional involvement (i.e. Buying, Marketing, Account Administration)

Qualifications

Candidate Profile

MBO level required

At least 1-2 years of administrative or secretarial experience required

Interest in sports fashion is highly preferred

Fluency in English, other European languages are strong assets

Excellent command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint are must)

Ability to work under pressure and with own initiative

Enthusiastic, positive, and goal-oriented team player

Accurate (also with numbers), well organized and service minde
