Delivery Driver Job Information:
Our routes dispatch no later than 8:00 AM and are completed once all packages are delivered (typically 5:00 PM)
This is a physical job and requires that the driver gets in and out of the truck upwards of 100 times in a shift.
Requirements of Delivery Driver: All applicants MUST meet ALL of the following criteria (NO EXCEPTIONS):
A few months of verifiable job-related driving experience in the last 3 years. Driving experience must be verifiable. MILITARY DRIVING, TAXI, AND LANDSCAPE DRIVER IS ACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE
Clean Motor Vehicle Record
F Endorsement (preferred prior to employment)
Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
Must be able to pass a Drug Test and DOT Medical / Physical Exam (Paid by Employer!)
Must be willing to submit to a background check (Check will go back 10 years)
Physically able to handle packages up to 75 lbs.
Have dependable transportation
The ability to locate suburban addresses using GPS and/or maps is a must and a good general knowledge of our service area which includes the Nashville area.
Responsibilities of Delivery Driver:
Arrive at the FedEx terminal to pick up vehicle and packages
Loading and Unloading packages from the truck
Delivering packages to the destination using a state of the art GPS system
Scanning and Logging Packages
SAFETY, ACCURACY, SERVICE, and ATTENDANCE are top priorities!
