Location: Hampton Bays

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant in the Hampton Bays, NY area to work at an Urgent Care in the area.

You willperform routine administrative and clinical assignments. We are looking for candidates available on on a temporary to permanent basis.

*Responsibilities:

* * Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner

* Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff

* Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures

* Escort patients to exam rooms

* Write out prescriptions for physical therapy, tests, etc.

* Prepare patient charts

* Prepare rooms for patient examinations

* Sterilize & clean instruments

* Take inventory of medical materials and supplies

* 2 years experience a plus

*Qualifications:

* * Familiarity with medical billing procedures

* Strong organizational skills

* Ability to thrive in afast-paced environment

* Must have a Medical Assistant Diploma or be certified in Medical Assisting.

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour

Expected hours:
No less than 35 per week
