Job Summary:
The Clearinghouse Specialist’s primary responsibility is providing operational support to the Clearinghouse Team. The Clearinghouse Specialist will need to be able to review the client’s data from multiple databases to process requests promptly. The ideal candidate should display a positive and proactive attitude, good communication, time management skills, and patience to do repetitive work for long periods of time.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Import data file to upload clearinghouse queries from the day prior.
Review data and report abnormal query results to the customer care department.
Process full and limited driver clearinghouse queries.
Initiate pre-employment screening service for new hires electronically.
Conduct annuals monthly for clients assigned to that month.
Report driver’s return to duty test after they are confirmed.
Report BAT violations and drug test refusals to FMCSA Clearinghouse after they are confirmed.
Use 8×8 to Text to communicate with external stakeholders.
Field data-related questions and assists with client-required process reviews.
Required Skills:
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable with routinely shifting demands.
High degree of attention to detail.
Data Entry experience.
Education and Experience:
College degree or equivalent experience required.
At least two years related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working using a computer.
Prolonged periods of repetitive work: driver information entry and individual pdf uploads.
