CNA-HR Assistant

We are looking for a CNA to work as an HR Assistant in the office and yet be able to providehands-oncare on a PRN basis to our patients. Thus enabling you to keep your license active. The CNA-HR Assistant supports the day-to-day administrative functions for the recruiting and hiring process, full-cycle onboarding and assists the entire human resources department.

Under general supervision, coordinates and administers talent acquisition functions from hiring through the first 90 days of employment. Also supports employee relations and serves as a backup for the payroll/benefits administrator.

Job Responsibilities:

Post and update job postings and work closely with the Scheduler and Office Manager

Develop and implement office flow to promote optimal hiring practices of qualified temporary candidates

Coordinate candidate pre-screening/evaluations/interview schedules

Process background checks, process hires, and prepare for candidate onboarding

Follow up with candidates on completion of required documentation

Coordinate and facilitate on-boarding and orientation process

Explain human resources policies and procedures

Facilitate training and development sessions

Analyze relevant HR data and reports, and maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.

Maintains company organization of client charts and employee directory.

Building and developing rapport with clients to improve business relationships resulting in acquiring additional staffing business with long-term and new clients

Participates in administrative staff meetings, and attends other networking meetings or seminars.

Assists with payroll, benefits reconciliation, and overall compliance efforts

Completes other assignments as requested and assigned.

May have access to personal health information (“PHI”) necessary to fulfill the above duties and responsibilities. Access to use and the ability to disclose PHI is further defined by each organization/department.
