Position Overview:
MBhealth is seeking a highly organized and motivated Commercial Insurance Account Manager / Agent Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support our agents in the administration and coordination of group accounts. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a keen attention to detail, take direction well, work well individually and in a team, and have a passion for providing excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing and maintaining relationships with group clients.
Support our Agents in day-to-day operations, including preparing reports, documentation, and presentations.
Coordinate communication between clients and carriers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
Monitor account activity and assist in the resolution of client issues.
Organize meetings, prepare agendas, and coordinate follow ups.
Maintain client records and ensure all information is up to date in our database.
Help with the onboarding process for new group clients.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in health insurance account management, customer service, or administrative support.
Accident, Health and Life Insurance license.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with CRM software.
