MISSION STATEMENT:

Jacobs is seeking aCommunications Focal Point (CFP) Administratorto support the NISSC II contract. Your career at Jacobs enables NISSC to fulfill its mission to “provide classified communications and processing for Command and Control (C2) capability in organizational work centers at NISSC sites.” As a member of our team, you will support corporate and customer missions to provide world-class IT services and support that connects systems and users across NORAD in the areas of software development/maintenance, network services, cyber security, systems administration, and other mission-critical areas.

JOB SUMMARY:

TheCommunications Focal Point (CFP) Administratorwill serve on the 21st Communications Squadron (21CS) Communications Focal Point (CFP) team in support of Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station (CMSFS) mission centers, Active-Duty military customers, Government civilians and tenants, and NISSC II contractors. This team member will assist the team in the ongoing task of establishing and updating operations, processes, and procedures, and will simultaneously perform a variety of Information Technology-based communications functions, including: providing client-side mission support to a variety of users during daily operations, monthly relocations, annual exercises, and unplanned real-world events;

resolving classified and unclassified system problems; answering system, network and application questions via telephone and email; evaluating the impacts and results of system troubleshooting; creating, tracking, reviewing, updating, and concluding actions in Remedy and within the Government’s timelines; assigning and following up on the maintenance actions of other work centers; and coordinating a variety of CMSFS Work Order activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Answering system, network, and application questions via telephone and email.

Evaluating the impacts and results of system troubleshooting.

Creating, tracking, reviewing, updating, and concluding actions in Remedy within the Government’s timelines.

Assigning and following up on the maintenance actions of other work centers coordinating a variety of CMSFS Work Order activities.

Maintaining and improving the already excellent relationship between Governmentleadershipand the NISSC II contractor team.

Serving as a NISSC II team Subject Matter Expert (SME) and advisor on all matters related to CFP processes and mission systems status.

Preparing, submitting, and briefing daily, weekly, and monthly metrics and status reports.

Serving as a coordination point for CMSFS mission partners and customers.

Other tasks and responsibilities may include developing and updating operational checklists, concepts of operations,communicationmatrices, and related plans and documentation.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Position requirements:

Must have an active Secret Clearance.

Must have DoD IAT Level II or higher certification (Security+ce).

Must have 2 years of work history.

Must have 1 year of directly related experience.

Must have 2 years of experience in Customer Service orientation.
