About the role
You'll be part of the Compliance team for payment gateway company, responsible for ensuring transactions on the platform run in line with our internal policies. The core focus of this role is monitoring daily transaction dashboards and identifying activity that appears suspicious or outside of acceptable patterns.
Responsibilities:
– Monitor transaction dashboards on a regular basis and flag unusual or suspicious activity based on internal policies
– Review KYC/KYB documents as part of the merchant and user onboarding process
– Investigate and document flagged transactions, escalating to senior team members when necessary
– Keep user records and compliance data up to date in accordance with internal procedures
– Coordinate with relevant teams (risk, ops, merchant success) to follow up on findings
– Assist in preparing periodic compliance reports per company policy
Requirements:
– Bachelor's degree in any field; Management or Accounting is a plus
– Min. 1 year of experience in compliance, operations, or risk at a fintech or financial institution
– Familiar with KYC/KYB processes and transaction monitoring
– Detail-oriented, able to work independently, and comfortable with data-driven tasks
– Good written communication skills in English
Nice to have:
– ISO certification
– Fraud detection experience
– Familiar with rule-based alert systems
– Basic SQL / advanced spreadsheet
