Position Summary:

ISI Professional Services seeks a Construction Administrator to support the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Construction & Facilities Management, National Region Office, Major Construction Project at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery (IGAP) in Pennsylvania. This proposed development will provide additional years of continued burial service to a veteran population served by this national cemetery since it opened. This project will comprise the next construction phase of cemetery development and will primarily include constructing additional burial facilities intended to provide additional years of service on existing, undeveloped land.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Use administrative skills necessary to provide office management and clerical support at a major construction project site. Primarily responsible for word processing and data entry. Assist the construction owner’s representative staff on project tasks.

Provide clerical support and receptionist services. Generate and bind reports. Use a working knowledge of reporting tools and software to present plans, concepts, strategies, and theories to clients efficiently. Complete complex assignments with guidance from other project team members.

Sort, file, and track program and project-related documentation.

Manage schedules and communications with key stakeholders.

Organize and attend staff meetings, take detailed notes, and distribute meeting minutes to all project stakeholders.

Draft, review, and distribute communications and project updates on behalf of the project team.

Liaise with project stakeholders about project requirements, timelines, and administrative reporting.

Maintain comprehensive and accurate records.

Maintain strong client relationships.

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

May possess a degree from an accredited institution of higher learning and/or evidence of work experience or knowledge to compensate for the absence of highereducation. A minimum of three (3) years of construction administration experience may be substituted and will be reviewed for acceptability.

Shall be familiar with the site operations of General and Sub-contractors and the processes of managing a building construction operation.

Ability to recognize terminology associated with the administration of construction activity to support CM staff with required documentation and submission of project-related data.

Must maintain a working knowledge of major construction activity and the typical documentation and reporting requirements.

Shall have experience in preparing, analyzing, and identifying incongruities and deficiencies in the contractors’ work in relationship with the construction documents.

Communication, Language, and Software Skills. [Experience using Kahua, Tririga, Procore, and Microsoft Power Apps a plus].

Ability to exercise good interpersonal skills.

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Must be able to pass and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Preferred:

A college degree is not required but is preferred.
