The expected ENTRY pay range for this position based on experience and equity within the Judicial Branch is $19.43 to $21.24.

This position is Non-Exempt under the FLSA.

About the Position

The Court Administration Assistant provides administrative support in a high-volume work environment that requires the ability to multi-task, use strong organizational and communication skills to provide exemplary service, both internally and externally, ensuring that the needs of the Court are met effectively. This position works within the Criminal Department and is responsible for the adjudication of all felony offenses committed within Maricopa County.

Position Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or GED

Experience:

Two (2) years of general clerical or administrative experience

OR

Combined Education and Experience Qualifications:

An equivalent combination of post-secondary education or job-related experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis

Our Preferred Candidate Has:

Bilingual in Spanish/English

Familiarity with the Arizona Constitution and Arizona Revised Statutes specific to the assigned divisions

Experience with multi-line telephone systems

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of:

Principles and processes for providing customer service including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction

Skill in:

The use of computer applications including spreadsheets, databases, and word processing software.

Written and verbal communication with others to convey information effectively

Critical thinking and evaluating information to determine the best solution

Providing exemplary customer service

Ability to:

Learn policies, procedures, and guidelines established by the Court
