Position Overview

This position provides administrative support and exceptional customer service within the Occupational Health Services business unit, focusing on medical exams or drug screenings. Responsibilities include scheduling examinations with examinees and network providers, interacting with team members and partners, and ensuring efficient process flow. Hours may vary to include weekends.

Compensation

Pay is $16.20 per hour

Duties

and Responsibilities

Coordinate with examinees and network providers for scheduling employment-related examinations.

Follow specific protocols for each program, adhering to policies and processes.

Use supporting software to process examinations, track progress, and record billing and delivery data.

Collaborate with medical teams, examinees, employers, and facilities to complete examinations.

Schedule examinations and follow up on results, including laboratory and medical determinations.

File, scan, and retrieve exam results, ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.

Provide professional customer service and handle inquiries via phone, fax, email, and mail.

Assess call escalations and redirect as needed; meet quality and productivity standards.

Participate in safety initiatives and ensure a safe working environment.

Assist with interdepartmental projects and routine administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

Customer service experience

Flexible schedule availability

Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and database software

Organized, detail-oriented, dependable

Strong communication skills

Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications

1 year office experience

Medical terminology knowledge

Call center experience

Physical Requirements

Sitting and standing for extended periods

Bending and lifting up to 15 lbs.
