Full Job Description

Job Summary

Provide courteous and professional customer service over the phone and in person to all vendors, customers, and visitors. Maintaining new sales orders, change orders, materials, and general office supplies.

Responsibilities and Duties

Greets visitors and answers phones

Data enter sales orders and change orders

Maintain materials inventory for new sales order and change orders

Conduct order confirmations

Assist with customer orders and shipping schedules

Conduct follow-up calls/e-mails for orders

Maintain customer files (creating, sorting, & filing documents/file folders)

Maintain general office supplies

Assist in facilitating company events and shows

Assist and act as back up when needed

Type letters, memos, and correspondences

Purchase materials, parts or other items as needed.

Quote current jobs and new jobs

Create reports as needed

Conduct audits as needed

Work in an effort to promote quality and safety

Ensure the highest possible product quality and adherence to ISO and/or other standards.

Overtime as needed on a project by project basis

Other job duties as assigned

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Minimum 1-2 years experience in Customer Service.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Intermediate computer skills including knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet.

Takes direction easily.

Organizational skills.

Detail Oriented.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.

Neat appearance.

High School graduate and/or equivalent job-related experiences, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Minimum of 2 years experience in an office environment

Speak, read, and write English to be easily understood.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and/or blueprint format.

Requires excellent hand/eye coordination, manual dexterity, good vision, and attendance.

intermediate computer skills to include, but is not limited to Windows, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet browsing, and 10-key by touch.
