The Data Entry Clerk is primarily responsible for compiling data from various sources (customer emails, customer databases, Arkam) and organizing data for job start-up, completion, permit applications, or any other function required by the position. This role may also involve working on the project schedule and assisting in ensuring job updates and statuses are reflected timely and accurately.

Responsibilities:

Work with management to ensure all processes are completed accurately and timely

Check source documents against entered data to ensure data integrity at every stage

Create and maintain logbooks of entered and changed data

Confer with supervisor regarding incomplete information

Generate statistical reports based on maintained data periodically

Update OOF reports for the customer

Maintain and update the customer’s tracking system as needed

Take lead on data entry responsibilities across various databases

Run and maintain reports from Arkam

Cross-check reports against permits in the tracking system

Assist other data entry clerks (site dependent) with surveys and emails as needed

Compile data/emails received from customers and format data for effective processing by managers/customers

Assist with other administrative duties as assigned by the direct manager

Qualifications:

Education/

Experience:

Three or more years of office-related experience

Any combination of education and/or experience demonstrating ability to perform the job duties

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to understand and carry out instructions in written, oral, or drawing form. Ability to analyze problems involving multiple variables with attention to detail and accuracy.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations including algebra

Language Skills:

Ability to read, understand, and interpret documents such as manuals and procedures. Ability to write reports and communicate effectively.

Software Requirements:

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Basic computer navigation and operation skills

Other Requirements:

Valid driver’s license (or obtain upon employment)

Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Willingness to attend and pass required training

Availability to work after hours, weekends, or be on-call as needed

Regular and timely attendance

Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers
