We serve 20-25 clients at our Assisted Living, located in North Spokane, who face challenges such as: high medical needs,Traumatic Brain injuries, dementia, or developmental disabilities. Our team is positive, fun, uplifting, and has a communicative and involved management team that is structured to provide encouragement and support for our care team and service departments and the hard work that they do.

Basic Job Description:

Currently looking for an office/HR assistant to help create a smooth daily flow in our daily operations. Position requires a self-starter who is able to take charge of responsibilities in an independent but collaborative manner, connects easily with others, is comfortable directing the work of others, and has a flexible and personable approach. Individuals must be observant, innovative, and have the highest sense of integrity in reporting and managing oversight. Needs to be highly organized and efficient, yet connect easily with others on a day to day basis; managing through mentorship.

Job details include:

Part Time to Full Time: Monday-Friday
30-40 hours a week
Hourly Rate: $20-$22 an hour
Staffing/Management: Oversight of 25 team members who serve the needs of our clients.
Innovation/Conceptual: Be responsible for the creation, implementation, and maintenance of quality Systems that enhance the flow and increase productivity of the facilities.
Documentation: Establish and document areas of focus for month/quarter and communicate to the team, set work priorities; relay purpose and function to participants of each meeting and provide necessary expectation for preparation of work to be done.
Organization: Exceptional organizational and management skills, requires someone who understands the importance of working within a system, cares about the work, upholds the highest sense of integrity and confidentiality, and ensures all staff do the same.
Financial: Liaison with Director of Business/Finance for accounting, department expense reporting and financial responsibility in handling budgets and various expenditure and revenue decisions per department.
Human Resources: HR regulation and compliance is desired for the oversight and direction of our HR support team. Team building, staff coaching and employee development is essential. Innovation in HR Systems, benefits, and staff development is a key function.
Compliance/Expansion: Work with state regulatory departments and ensure compliance with licensing and legal codes. Work closely with Administrative and Executive teams to move projects forward.
Quality Assurance: Oversight of facility condition and monthly QA Inspection process.
Perform other related duties and assignments as required.( Stock and Organize back offices, Run errands to purchase office supplies, staff appreciation gifts, staff meeting needs, etc., Process initial Indeed applicants, Prepare interview packets every Monday and Thursday, etc.)
The Assistant Administrator (of HR and Auxiliary Services) works with the Executive Team and facility Administrator who oversees PR/Marketing and Care Services.
Assisted by our Director of Care; Director of Services (who oversees Food Service, Facility Maintenance, and Activities/Events); and Business Office (assisting with bookkeeping, HR and Office Management).

Basic Job Requirements:

A minimum of five years of relevant work experience in Management
HR regulatory skills and oversight is advantageous
Outstanding references from both current and previous employers
Ability to analyze financial data and oversee budgets and department spending
Strong analytic, communication and management skills
Superb command of the English language, both written and oral
Organizational skills and the ability to Innovate and Systemize processes; inspiring management teams and staff to do the same
Strong computer skills; familiarity with Apple applications

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
