Job Description:

Independently install, configure, manage and maintain PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL.
Planning, installation, and configuration of database systems.
Database user management and administration.
Implementation and management of PostgreSQL replication (Streaming Replication / Hot Standby).
Implementation and management of Oracle Data Guard (Active/Standby).
Backup and recovery management: PostgreSQL (pg_dump, pg_basebackup, pg_fdw) and Oracle (RMAN, Data Pump).
Execution of failover and switchover activities.
Monitoring and performance tuning of databases (queries, indexing, configuration).
Writing and optimizing SQL queries for reporting and analysis.
Ensuring database security, integrity, and high availability.
Managing databases in Linux environments.
Troubleshooting and resolving database issues independently.
Performing routine maintenance (vacuuming, reindexing, statistics updates).
Managing and supporting large-scale databases.
