Delivery Driver/Independent Contractor Jobs in United States at BETTER TRUCKS INC
We are looking for weekend experienced drivers to handle pickups, deliveries, and service calls for popular beach gear items rented by guests staying around the Eastpoint, FL areas. This is a perfect job for an experienced delivery driver looking for additional work on weekends or during the week.
Shift availability and hours will vary depending on demand and with the most hours available during spring break and summer seasons. THIS IS A PART TIME/SEASONAL OPPORTUNITY.
Hiring will be done immediately.
Candidates must have a good driving record (MVR) and agree to a background check.
Drivers must be able to drive a pickup truck with a 14′ trailer – applicants may be asked to take a driving test.
Drivers and assistants must be able to follow a pickup and delivery manifest and make between 20-40 deliveries on a delivery day.
Drivers must be able to inspect gear in the field for safety and cleanliness and follow policies for replacing, cleaning, and staging gear for a guests arrival.
Driver and assistant must be able to communicate with a dispatcher during the day.
Driver and assistant are responsible for delivery and pickup accuracy and for completing the route within the expected time range.
Driver is responsible for the safety and appearance of the vehicle, the assistant, and the gear.
Driver is responsible for checking inventory at the end of the route and ensuring accuracy of end day inventory count.
Driver and assistant must wear appropriate clothing and have an appropriate appearance.
Applicants must be able to submit to drug testing and background check.
Drivers receive Bonuses based upon delivery quality and number of stops. Qualified drivers can earn up to $2 extra per stop!
