Position Overview
Hasbro’s Global Development Organization is seeking a Digital Asset Administrator to join its Digital Asset Management (DAM) team and work onsite at our Shenzhen office. Reporting to the Associate Manager of Digital Assets, this role is pivotal in supporting DAM processes and workflows. The administrator ensures the secure, timely delivery of approved digital assets through content management systems, while maintaining high standards of organization, communication, and customer service. The position requires collaboration with multiple departments, including Project Management, Design, Engineering, Legal, and Quality Assurance, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of graphic assets. This role requires a strong understanding of digital workflows, proficiency with graphic software and Excel, and outstanding organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
Graphic File Management and Preflight Support:
- Prepare and thoroughly inspect final graphic files to ensure compliance with detailed print and production requirements, including resolution, color fidelity, and file format standards.
- Collaborate seamlessly with Design and Project Management teams to evaluate project readiness before finalization, ensuring a smooth transition through the approval process within the digital workflow system.
- Systematically catalog, archive, and maintain all final graphic artwork, ensuring consistent organization and easy retrieval in the DAM system.
Asset Distribution
Prepare, maintain, and retrieve digital assets (e.g., photos, packaging, artwork, and copy).
- Follow secure release protocols for final product assets, including packaging artwork, photography, toolkits, studio references, digital broadcasts, marketing materials, and licensed assets.
- Respond to and handle high volumes of asset requests from internal and external collaborators (e.g., marketing, product development, and licensing teams).
- Ensure assets are properly named, uploaded, and secured according to guidelines, advancing issues to the DAM team leadership as needed.
- Collect, prepare, and distribute files to other development sites for global development and execution.
Quality Assurance And Maintenance
- Conduct audits to verify asset integrity and availability.
- Curate assets post-upload to enhance user experience and improve findability using metadata, keywords, and archiving practices.
- Assess any setbacks or challenges that arise during the graphic development process and collaborate to develop action plans.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in DAM, Information & Library Science, Graphic Design, Project Management, Communications, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a DAM role or working closely with DAM or CMS systems.
Skills And Expertise
- Confirmed expertise in DAM and CMS software applications.
- Background in Graphic Design, Print Production, and Prepress processes is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with a focus on data organization and presentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, emphasizing customer service support.
- Comprehensive understanding of content stewardship principles, including metadata standards and governance.
- Foundational knowledge of data architecture and the end-to-end asset lifecycle, from creation to distribution.
