On behalf of our client, Procom is seeking an experienced Document Processing Specialist for a permanent opportunity.
Document Processing Specialist – Job Details
Our client, located in Toronto, is in need of an experienced Document Processing Specialist to join their team. The responsibilities of the role are as follows:
Document Processing Specialist Responsibilities
Preparation and editing of various complex legal documents, spreadsheets, presentations, flow charts, and PDF documents.
Conversion of PDF documents into Word, Excel, or other required formats, including formatting adjustments.
Creation and modification of mail merges, media insertion into presentations, and the creation and editing of graphs and objects.
Troubleshooting document issues and providing assistance to others as needed.
Utilization of Workshare Compare and Litera Forte for creating blacklines.
Transcription of dictation using Big Hand and Word 365 Digital Dictation.
Willingness to familiarize oneself with and master other software currently utilized.
Completion of various other assigned tasks and projects.
Document Processing Specialist Mandatory Skills
Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a legal document processor with comprehensive knowledge across various legal domains.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, including advanced features and functions.
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Strong word processing skills, encompassing superior accuracy, spelling, grammar, proofreading, and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Advanced proficiency in cleaning and reformatting scanned documents using Doc Xtools and applying styles with numbering schemes.
Above-average familiarity with Adobe Acrobat, Workshare Compare, and Big Hand software.
Understanding of document saving and importing processes using the electronic document management system iManage.
Bilingual fluency in French and English is considered advantageous.
Flexibility regarding overtime work, if required.
