Job Summary:

The Quality Document Control is responsible for managing all aspects of document control within the organization, ensuring the accuracy, accessibility, and compliance of critical documents and records. Additionally, this role involves overseeing operational processes to optimize efficiency and quality within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Document Control:

Develop and implement document control processes and policies to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Manage the creation, revision, approval, distribution, and archiving of documents, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, quality manuals, and other critical documents.

Establish and maintain a document control system, including electronic document management software, to facilitate document retrieval and version control.

Conduct regular audits to ensure document accuracy and compliance, addressing discrepancies promptly.

Regulatory Compliance:

Stay updated on industry-specific regulations and standards (e.g., ISO, FDA, GMP) and ensure that document control processes align with these requirements.

Collaborate with regulatory affairs and quality assurance teams to support audits and inspections, providing necessary documentation and information.

Qualifications:

Preferred but not required: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Operations Management, Engineering).

Prior experience in document control, quality management, or operations leadership roles.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IPC regulations).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

The Quality Document Control and Operations Lead plays a critical role in ensuring the organization’s documents are managed effectively and that operational processes are optimized for quality and efficiency.
