Fulltime (4 days) & Part Time (3 days) positions available.
**
Basic requirements include:
Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to submit to a drug screen.
Must have a seven year clean driving record. No more than two marks on your driving record total.
For example, one speeding ticket (counts as one mark) and one accident (counts as one mark).
Must be in good physical shape to walk 5-7 miles during delivery day to deliver up to 190 delivery
stops per day and finish route safely in 10.5 hours.
Must be comfortable driving/delivering in varying weather conditions and during the day and
nighttime hours
Must possess a great work ethic, attitude and be extremely reliable.
Must be willing to work at least Saturday or Sunday on weekends.
Driver Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Drivers will work a 10.5 hour shift with a four day work week. Hours are day shift and a schedule of 10:45 am-9:00 pm (subject to change)
*Work environment can include all kinds of weather (rain, sun, cold, heat)*
-Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.
-We deliver Amazon packages to homes and businesses within fifty miles of the Amazon Charlotte, NC delivery station. (This is a physically demanding job that requires getting in and out of a van 150-199 times per day in all weather conditions).
-Drivers will need to be able to do a lot of walking for an extended period of time on their delivery route, moving with a purpose.
-Drivers need to be able to carry packages up to 50 pounds each. (Hand truck is provided).
-Drivers will need to be able to walk up flights of stairs with packages.
-No CDL is required for this position
Driver Perks:
-Drivers are given two fifteen minute breaks and one thirty minute lunch break per shift.
-Drivers will be provided use of a Amazon branded van, uniforms, and work cell phone each day to navigate routes, deliver packages, and access customer delivery information.
