We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented E-commerce Officer to support and optimise our online sales operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing product listings across multiple e-commerce platforms, coordinating promotional campaigns, analysing sales performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment and an excellent online customer experience while driving the growth of our digital sales channels.
Key Responsibilities
1. E-Commerce Support
Responsible for managing and optimizing selected product categories at our website,Tiktok, Shopee and Lazada.
● Driving the product category’s sales and growth, as well as maintaining online product range.
● Liaise with procurement team and brand supplier to obtain new arrivals and promotional deals.
● Assist in launching promotional campaigns, including setting promo code, briefing designer on marketing materials ie web banners, social media posts.
● Monitor competitor’s marketing strategy and study market trends
2. Reporting & Analytics
● Generate regular and comprehensive reports on key e-commerce metrics, including sales performance, traffic, conversion rates, and campaign effectiveness.
● Utilize analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Google Analytics) to interpret data, provide actionable insights, and drive data-backed decisions for growth.
● Monitor competitor activity and market trends to ensure the company maintains a competitive edge.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
● Serve as the point of contact for day-to-day e-commerce tasks, working closely with Marketing for traffic generation and campaign alignment.
● Coordinate with the Commercial/Buying team regarding product assortment planning, pricing, and promotional strategies.
● Liaise with the Warehouse/Operations team to streamline order fulfilment, logistics, and inventory accuracy.
● Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of tasks.
Any other assignments as directed by immediate superior as and when required.
Requirements
● 1-2 years of professional work experience in an e-commerce, retail, or business development role.
● Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or equivalent practical experience).
● Strong business acumen backed by an analytical mindset. Comfort generating, evaluating, and presenting various forecasts, metrics, and business analyses (e.g., sales, conversion, inventory).
● Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are highly preferred for data manipulation and reporting.
● Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to interact, coordinate, and build strong relationships with multiple internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Commercial, Warehouse).
● A highly motivated self-starter who takes ownership of tasks, is passionate about driving measurable results, and is comfortable thriving in a fast-moving, dynamic business environment.
● Excellent attention to detail and a strong ability to plan, prioritize, and organize a demanding workload autonomously.
● Innovative and proactive problem-solver capable of dissecting the root causes of issues and implementing sustainable solutions.
Skills & Competencies:
● Team player, energetic, able to multitask and work independently.
● Experience in managing online store will be given priority.
● Knowledge in Food products and Food retail industry is an added advantage.
● Preferably with E-commerce experience
● May required to conduct live hosting
● Understanding of culture and social trends
● Basic understanding of social platforms
