Key Responsibilities
- Provide Health, Safety, Environment and Sustainability support and advisory across retail operations.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend practical risk control measures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Develop, implement, and monitor H&S improvement plans based on incident trends and operational risks.
- Lead accident investigations, identify root causes, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor compliance with H&S policies, legal requirements, and company standards through audits and inspections.
- Prepare and analyse H&S performance reports, incident data, and key metrics.
- Deliver H&S training and awareness programmes for employees, contractors, tenants, and business partners.
- Partner with operational leaders to strengthen safety culture and ensure safe work practices are embedded across the business.
- Support new store developments, projects, and operational initiatives from a Health & Safety perspective.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace safety, health, and sustainability performance.
Requirement
- sDegree in Occupational Safety & Health or related discipline, with a valid SHO certification
- .1–3 years of experience in Health & Safety, preferably in retail, operations, logistics, or FMCG environments
- .Good understanding of occupational safety regulations, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- .Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills
- .Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- .Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- .Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- .Willing to travel within the Southern region (Johor, Melaka)
