Salary:$45,000-$65,000 annually

Job Summary:

New Mexico State University Foundation is seeking a Program Coordinator (Executive Assistant) to join our dynamic team. As a Program Coordinator, you will support all aspects of assigned Advancement related programs, services, and staff. Essential Functions:

Plans, develops or assists in the execution of programs, services, or support activities.

Monitors and develops plans and budgets to ensure that programs/services are operating within specifications.

Prepares itineraries and makes travel arrangements for assigned staff.

Manages calendars and schedules meetings and other activities for assigned staff.

Creates, maintains, and works with lists of alumni, prospects, and other constituents.

Receives and resolves inquiries and problems.

May coordinate Foundation events, including planning, organizing, and directing activities, organizing public/social functions, sponsorship or ticket sale fundraising, and coordinating contact with and involvement of donors and alumni.

May provide counsel, advice, and assistance to colleges in the raising of private funds for projects or programs.

In the area of fundraising, coordinates the activities of Foundation departments to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of Foundation programs or projects.

Requirements:

Minimum Required Education, Knowledge, Experience & Certification/License:

An energetic, well-grounded, innovative, service-oriented personality and calculated risk taker with a bias for action, a record of setting and surpassing objectives, and the proven “can do” attitude and drive to execute strategies and produce results beyond expectations.

Effective communication skills, both oral and written.

Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and customer service orientation.

Other competencies include, but are not limited to, accuracy and attention to detail, collaboration, and execution.

Job Family Levels:

Level I:

o Under immediate supervision, performs standard tasks using established methods, principles, concepts and procedures. Judgments are made on routine matters of relatively small impact.

o High School diploma or equivalent.

o No previous work experience required.

Level II:

o Under close supervision, performs varied duties and assignments involving independent judgment. Resolves routine questions or problems, referring only complex issues to higher level. Some evaluation, originality and ingenuity required.

o Bachelor’s degree in discipline appropriate to position plus 2 years experience in public relations, project management, general office operations or a related field.

o May be responsible for training, assisting or assigning tasks to others.
