Part-Time Administrative Assistant – Financial Planning Office

Our boutique financial planning office in Astoria is seeking a dependable and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our team for approximately 20 hours per week. This role offers a flexible schedule within standard business hours and an opportunity to be an integral part of a client-focused firm.
Responsibilities include:
Data entry and maintaining accurate client records
Assisting with client communications and scheduling
Helping prepare materials for client meetings
Supporting the coordination and execution of client appreciation events
Light office management duties (mail handling, ordering supplies, maintaining office organization)
Maintaining and promoting the firm’s presence through social media platforms
Special projects and tasks as needed to support the advisor and improve operations
What we’re looking for:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organization
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and willing to learn CRM and financial planning software
Familiarity with social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, or Facebook
Professional, friendly, and client-service oriented
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, small-office setting
