In 1964, we were established by a dedicated group of concerned citizens and government officials of Houston, Wabasha, and Winona counties. In 1965, we opened our first clinic in Winona. Today we provide services in Winona, Houston, Wabasha, Goodhue and Fillmore counties.

TITLE: Executive Assistant

PROGRAM: Administration

JOB SUMMARY: Supports the Executive Director and Human Resource Manager, and/or other assigned leadership staff with administrative duties and completes broad variety of administrative tasks.

Executive Assistant:

Manage active calendar appointments, composing and preparing correspondence, itineraries and agendas, and compiles documents and reports for a variety of meetings.

Assists in preparing presentations for the board members, county board, management, or other designated groups of individuals.

Prepares board packets, assist in preparing agendas, minutes and correspondence with board members and keeps current board roster.

Attends agreed upon meetings and committees.

Responsible for data entry and reporting as assigned.

Human Resources:

Supports human resources processes which include but are not limited to benefit administration, updating databases/programs etc.; refers more complex questions and processes to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.

Assists with all questions and processes related to hiring which include but are not limited to scheduling interviews, phone screening, follow-up communication to candidates, background checks, reference checks, etc.

Assists with onboarding tasks, including but not limited to new hire orientation, in addition to offboarding tasks.

Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION: Must be able to walk, sit, stand, crouch, twist, bend, reach overhead, maneuver stairs and stretch in a manner conducive to the execution of daily activities. Must be able to move around the office on a daily basis. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must communicate with others and exchange information. This is primarily a sedentary position (standing and/or sitting). Employees regularly operate computers and other office equipment on a daily basis. Occasional bending and lifting of office materials up to 30 lbs.
