Position Summary
The Office Administrator is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing daily operations at the branch, building relationships in the community, managing staff, and supporting the successful coordination of hiring and onboarding activities in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition (TA) team. This individual will represent New Hope in the field and play a vital role in both internal team oversight and external engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Engagement & Outreach
Serve as a representative of New Hope in the community
Visit referral sources, clients, and partners to maintain strong relationships and identify growth opportunities
Attend local networking events, meetings, or outreach activities to promote New Hope’s services
Act as a liaison between clients, families, and internal teams to ensure needs are met
Staff Oversight & Office Operations
Supervise administrative and field staff, including scheduling, coaching, and general support
Manage day-to-day office functions to ensure smooth and professional operations
Maintain compliance with organizational policies and assist with internal audits or reporting
Support problem-solving and escalation as needed
Hiring & Coordination
Partner with the TA team to support the hiring and onboarding process
Assist with scheduling interviews, orientations, and in-office paperwork
Maintain employee files and track onboarding progress
Ensure timely communication between applicants, new hires, and relevant departments
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in office administration, staff supervision, or community outreach
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to represent the organization externally
Comfortable working independently and in the field
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office systems
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in healthcare, social services, or community-based organizations
Bilingual (preferred but not required)
Familiarity with onboarding or HR processes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
