Job Overview
Local downtown personal injury law firm is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant. This position is both rewarding and challenging. Duties may include, but are not limited to: Managing correspondence, data entry into spreadsheets and databases, answering phones, mail distribution, special projects, ensuring and maintaining data integrity, copying, scanning, and faxing documents, filing and maintaining accurate records, locating new contact information for existing clients, applying competency with fluctuating workflow and complexity, and; supporting legal counsel.
Skills/Qualifications:
Demonstrates the ability to create and maintain both internal and external relationships.
Demonstrates proficiency in applying critical thinking skills, organization, and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong typing skills and accurate data entry.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on resolving issues efficiently.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Background in personal injury would be helpful but is not necessary
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
