Job Description:
The Administrative Assistant for Teaching and Learning provides essential administrative support to ensure the effective operation of faculty professional development, instructional quality initiatives, and the academic affairs unit. This position supports faculty, staff, and administrators through document management, special project coordination, and compliance-related activities. Additionally, the role serves as the primary liaison for the Shared Services Distance Learning (SSDL) program, supports curriculum preparation and development efforts, and provides some administrative support for our dual enrollment office. This role requires occasional evening or weekend availability for special projects or faculty support events. The Administrative Assistant for Teaching and Learning is a college-wide position and reports directly to the Director of the Center for Excellence and Innovation in Teaching and Learning.

The hiring range for this position is $41,307.00-$55,764.00. Salary will be commensurate with competencies and experience. Proficiency in Office & Learning Technologies: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Google
Workspace, and the ability to quickly learn Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other technology tools, with the capability to train others
Additional Considerations:
KSAs and Competencies
Academic Experience: Prior work experience in education, community college, or four-year
college/university setting.
Academic Applications: Proficiency with PeopleSoft Student Information System (SIS), Canvas LMS,
and/or Modern Campus applications.
Distance Learning: Basic understanding of online learning tools, accessibility best practices, and
compliance standards.
