Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized individual to join our team as an Order Entry Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for processing incoming orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data entry. As an Order Entry Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and with the correct specifications. Someone that has extensive knowledge in computers, software, WMS, etc. is preferred.

Responsibilities

Accurately input customer orders into our ordering system, ensuring all information is correct and up-to-date.
Respond to inquiries from customers regarding their orders and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.
Process orders in a timely and efficient manner to meet customer delivery expectations.
Monitor order status throughout the fulfillment process and work with logistical personnel to ensure timely pickup/delivery.
Collaborate with various departments including marketing, customer service, and supply chain to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
Resolve any issues that arise with customer orders including changes, cancellations, or discrepancies.
Maintain accurate data entry records and ensure the order processing system is updated in real-time.
Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives to ensure maximum efficiency in the order entry process.

Requirements

Proven experience as an order entry specialist or similar position with experience in customer service or related fields
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and order entry systems
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously
Strong communication and customer service skills to build positive relationships with customers
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred but not needed.
