Our client is a well-respected home-building business headquartered in Richmond, VA, with a track record of successful projects throughout the mid-Atlantic region. In this role, you will be asked to take on a variety of administrative jobs and projects. You’ll able to use your critical thinking skills to solve problems creatively and help provide a foundation for growth. This position plays a vital role in keeping the business moving smoothly and requires someone who is street-smart, curious, organized, and detail-oriented. You must be a team player and thrive in an environment where you wear many hats. If you are serious about building a career, you will have that opportunity, including training as needed to develop new skills.

This is a full-time, on-site position.

Primary Responsibilities

This position includes a great deal of administrative variety. Our client is looking for a personable, inquisitive, detail-oriented individual who can support a fast-paced office to get the job done. You will assist two generations of company owners and the Chief Operating Officer. Examples of jobs you may be asked to do include:

Helping with scheduling.
Compiling data and other information.
Helping to research answers to a variety of business-related questions.
Following up with sub-contractors and other vendors.

Most of your work will be general office administration. As you learn the business and we identify areas of interest for you, we will help you build your career in that direction.

Finalists will be asked to complete an assessment as well as give authorization for background and reference checks. This is an office-based position, centrally located in Richmond, VA.

Minimum starting salary is $45,000 to $60,000 based on experience. Benefits include health insurance (90% covered by employer) and a 401(k), with optional employee-paid dental and vision insurance.
