This is a 12-month Secondment opportunity to provide comprehensive secretarial, business & change management support combined with administrative support at an executive level to the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer (CRCO) through excellent planning, organising and monitoring. addition to this core support your responsibilities will also include assisting team heads and the wider Compliance team when required.

Responsibilities:

Provide full support to Chief Risk and Compliance Officer and not limited to diary and email management, seamless coordination and scheduling of meetings, invoice and expense approvals, administrative system approvals and business travel

Co-ordinate, collate and prepare presentations, reports and ad –hoc requirements as directed

Provide support on ad – hoc duties to support Risk and Compliance Leadership Team

Maintain, consolidate and update key Risk and Compliance metrics

Prepare and coordinate the filing of all routine internal and external reports and documents

Handle daily calls and inquiries and respond independently to routine issues and questions

Assist in coordinating training sessions

Provide support to Risk and Compliance Team Assistant, as needed

Maintain HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group Risk and Compliance Policy and maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring

Requirements

Requirements:

Previous experience working in a similar environment as an EA, PA or team assistant including 1:1 and team support

Completion of HSC (High School) or equivalent

Good interpersonal skills and communication including in person and by telephone

Good attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and work under a tight schedule and pressure

Strong organising and coordination skills

MS Office 365 proficient including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Candidates for this role will need to demonstrate they hold Australian or New Zealand PR/Citizenship or full working rights, based in Sydney.
