Position Summary Information
Definition
Under direction of the Executive Director of Construction or assigned administrator, the Facilities Project Analyst will perform a wide variety of difficult and highly complex administrative support duties in the management of Measure W Bond and State Capital Outlay programs; complete assigned projects independently; process administrative matters not requiring the immediate attention of the administrator; and coordinate communications between supervisor and other top-level College or District administrators.
Comprised of two colleges, West Valley College and Mission College, we are located in the heart of Silicon Valley. Our staff and faculty are among the most qualified in the state and our students appreciate our two colleges for our friendly staff and supportive atmosphere.
The Facilities Project Analyst acts as a liaison between college user groups, project stakeholders, contractors, design professionals, consultants, and engineers during the planning, design, working drawings, construction, and post occupancy phases of large capital projects; coordinates and monitors projects being planned, designed, and constructed according to District standards. This job involves public contact with College and District administrators, staff, faculty, students, and outside agencies, with thepurposeof coordinating and communicating information regarding policy.
