Position Title:Bar Line Tray Operator – 8oz Bar Tray Line
Department/Location:Cream Cheese/Stephenville
Title of Immediate Leader:Cream Cheese TA/TL
Full Time: Yes
Shift: Gray Days 7a-7p
Base Rate: $21.19
Position Purpose:
Act as line operator rotating between filler, breaker, and hand pack support. Ensures all areas are functioning as needed. Checks orders and assist with minimizing downtime. Performs other line duties as needed to ensure line runs accordingly. Perform other duties and help in other areas as needed. Works closely with PS/TL on operations of the line and equipment. Work with Leaders and fellow partners to ensure Food Safety and Partner Safety. Understand and execute standard operating procedures relative to position. Perform all PCP and CCP checks required for position. Follow reaction plan for Food Safety, Food Quality and customer requirement outages and by contacting TA/TL. Essential Functions:
Ensures correct form in fill cup.
Clears any and all jams within filler, carton former, and tray former.
Reads production order or follows oral instructions to determine cheese type, style and packaging material required.
Sets specifications as indicated by the product, package size and production order.
Operates switches on the control panel to start, stop, and fine tune the machine.
Observes operation of filler, carton former, and tray former to detect and correct inconsistencies.
Periodically train operators on other shifts in the operation and preventative maintenance of fillers.
Understands duties and responsibilities for fillers and can demonstrate proficiency in running the machine.
Assist in operations as needed including general sanitation and a portion of the QA responsibilities.
Ability and willingness to interact in a positive, professional and team-oriented manner with people at many levels and in many roles.
Ability and willingness to lead and maintain an attitude of flexibility and cooperation in all interactions.
May help on other lines as needed.
Assist in development and implementation of SOP’s, PCP’s and GMP’s.

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma/G.E.D.
EXPERIENCE:
Type: Operator Experience preferred – will train inexperienced operators

SKILLS:
Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
Basic Math.
Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
Training in Food Safety and Safe Work. Additional certifications will enhance the partner’s potential for success!
Compliance with safety procedures, GMP’s, requirements and designated PPE
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
WORKING CONDITIONS:
High noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection.
During sanitation activities, potential exposure to chemicals and wet conditions is likely.
Chemicals may require the use of PPE.
