The Administrative Assistant IV shall serve The Navigators and fulfill the responsibilities listed below in the spirit of The Navigators calling, values and purpose: To advance the Gospel of Jesus and His kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of laborers living and discipling among the lost.
This position will assist and represent the International President Emeritus (IPE) in planning and executing professional functions, projects, and providing administrative support.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Travel Logistics – 30%
Manage extensive domestic and international air and ground travel for IPE and his wife (when appropriate), keeping costs as reasonable as possible while providing the most effective itinerary to meet their needs. Secure needed documents for international travel (visas, passports, etc.) Secure upgrades for long international flights. Prepare detailed itinerary and contact information for inclusion in travel folder to make travel as efficient as possible.
Speaking Engagements – 35%
Effectively manage IPE’s heavy speaking schedule details and arrangements, including creation, revision, and preparation of Powerpoint presentations.
Administration – 35 %
Provide administrative support for the IPE, including but not limited to, schedules and appointments, email correspondence, taking meeting minutes and notes, invoices and expense reporting, special projects, budgeting, database and filing management.
Additional Responsibilities
Participate in Navigators’ on-site learning and development events or other non-Navigator developmental events as appropriate.
Participate in annual processes, such as the organizational Plan and Progress Review (PPR), Reaffirmation of the Navigators Code of Conduct, Calling-Core Values-Vision, Statement of Faith, Driver’s Authorization, and other releases as required.
Submit time worked on a weekly basis through the Workday Time Tracking system.
Other job-related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Spiritual: Belief in and adherence to the Statement of Faith and Mission of The Navigators.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a Navigator field ministry or headquarters role.
Technical Knowledge & Skills: Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
Communication & Leadership: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including verbal & written, to create understanding and build strong working relationships required. Demonstrated skill in editing, writing, proofreading and grammar.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or college coursework / equivalent experience required.
Compensation Range: $20.70-32.00/hour
Hours/week: 20 hours
