Responsibilities:
– Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
– Check-in and check-out guests, ensuring accuracy of information
– Assist guests with inquiries and provide information about hotel facilities and services
– Handle guest complaints or concerns, escalating to management when necessary
– Operate the hotel phone system, answering calls and transferring to appropriate departments
– Maintain accurate guest records, including contact information and payment details
– Process payments and handle cash transactions
– Assist with night audit duties as needed
– Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Requirements:
– Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role preferred
– Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
– Multilingual abilities are a plus (e.g., Spanish, French, etc.)
– Knowledge of hospitality industry practices and procedures
– Familiarity with hotel management software systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio)
– Ability to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
– Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
– Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply
