We are looking to add to our team of patient-focused, caring individuals. We strive to provide the highest quality eye care while making our patients feel cared for and cared about. No direct experience required but a customer service and/or a sales background is preferred. Applicants should be eager to help patients achieve the best vision possible while making them feel well cared for. We use a computer based system for scheduling and charting patient information. We are looking for team members who are kind and eager to learn a new system and new skills. Please consider joining our team!

This position will involve working directly with patients at our front desk and waiting room as well as in our optical. We are looking for team members who care as much about our patients and their vision as possible. We can train the technical side of the job after employment is established.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist patients at the front desk, ensuring a welcoming environment.
Manage appointment scheduling and patient records efficiently.
Handle phone inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
Process patient information and maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
Support medical billing and collections as needed, utilizing EHR systems.
Collaborate with the optometry team to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.

Qualifications

Proven experience in medical administrative support and front desk operations
Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction
Proficient in using EHR systems such as Eyefinity and OfficeMate
Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
Excellent computer skills, including multi-line phone systems
Familiarity with medical records management and clerical tasks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
