Responsibilities

  • Proven experience in medical front desk or administrative support within dental or medical clinics.
  • Knowledge of medical billing, CPT coding, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding, and insurance verification processes.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, health information management, and documentation review.
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and office management software.
  • Ability to handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and appointment scheduling.
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service and office teamwork.
  • Experience working in dental or orthodontic clinics is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards to ensure confidentiality of protected health information (PHI).
