Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Manager to lead all logistical and operational aspects of our national trade shows and expos. This role is central to ensuring each event runs smoothly—from initial planning to post-event teardown.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage floor plans, booth layouts, and venue maps in coordination with the sales and production teams.
Coordinate vendor setup, move-in/move-out schedules, and shipping logistics.
Liaise with venue management, decorators, security, electricians, and equipment providers.
Ensure timely delivery of all show materials and infrastructure (tables, signage, badges, electrical, internet).
Manage on-site operations during shows, troubleshooting any issues in real-time.
Monitor and control event budgets related to logistics and operations.
Maintain detailed checklists, timelines, and communication workflows with internal departments and vendors.
Support compliance with safety, insurance, and fire marshal regulations.
Qualifications:
2–5 years of experience in event/expo operations, logistics, or related field.
Strong understanding of expo setup, venue logistics, and vendor coordination.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills under pressure.
Proficient in using floor plan software Excel, Google Workspace.
Ability to travel to shows across the U.S. (approximately 20–30%).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $53,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
