Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a motivated and skilled Remote (working CST and living in Utah or Houston) Help Desk Admin to join our team on a 6-12-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong troubleshooting mindset, be driven, and possess basic IT knowledge. This role is crucial in providing excellent customer support and ensuring the smooth operation of our help desk during this transitional period. Key Responsibilities:

Help Desk Admin will provide technical support to end-users, addressing and resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity

Assist in the process of merging two help desks, ensuring a seamless transition and integration

Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and empathy, especially when dealing with cranky or frustrated users

Perform administrative tasks such as accessing security groups, side work, and handling terminations with MIIM

As a Help Desk Admin, you will utilize Active Directory for user management and troubleshooting

Collaborate with team members to identify and implement improvements to the help desk processes

Requirements

Experience in mixed Tiers 1 and 2 support

Active Directory experience is required

Experience with accessing security groups and performing administrative tasks

Familiarity with MIIM for handling terminations

Familiarity with desktop support, but capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously

Strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach

Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Proven ability to work with customers, especially in challenging situations

Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently

A proactive and driven attitude towards work

Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges

Knowledge of Azure is a plus

Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, and Citrix is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
