Job Summary

The Scheduler is responsible for maintaining client and caregiver relationships to provide a “best in home care” experience for clients and employees. This role involves interfacing with caregiver staff to ensure proper caregiver-client matching, receiving detailed referrals, scheduling caregivers, monitoring telephony systems, providing coverage during working hours, and performing administrative duties. The Scheduler maintains a positive demeanor and multitasks effectively in a high-functioning office environment.

Essential Functions

Verbal Communication: Answer calls professionally, communicate with associates and clients, serve as liaison between staff and Office Manager.

Customer Focus: Respond promptly and courteously to client inquiries, handle referrals and inside sales inquiries.

Decision Making/Judgment: Maintain integrity, embody company values, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.

Organization: Schedule and coordinate caregiver activities, maintain documentation in Well Sky, ensure current personnel records.

Stress Management: Perform on-call duties weekly, maintain professionalism, multitask effectively.

Likability: Be a team player, relate sensitively to clients and staff.

Resourcefulness: Perform general office and clerical duties, undertake other tasks as assigned.

Education

, Skills, Abilities, and Availability

High school diploma or equivalent with two years of administrative experience.

CN A or HHA certification preferred, or two years caregiver experience.

Basic office and computer skills, organizational abilities, excellent interpersonal and telephone skills.

Knowledge of medical terminology.

Ability to work independently with sound judgment.

Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, understanding).

Availability for on-call duties outside normal hours.

Working Environment

In-office position

Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

One weekly after-hours on-call support
