About the Role:
The Administrative Project Manager role will primarily help market the company’s brand
One of the main responsibilities is the required permitting and testing for our waste water discharge permit with St. Joseph Water Protection. This encompasses any discharge in our powder coat facility and the water clarifier. These responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Quarterly waste water testing
Semiannual reporting
Annual inspections
Permit renewal
Disposal of waste coolant/oil
Chemical storage
Track out control
TTO Monitoring
The Administrative Project Manager also oversees Human Resources and acts as a liaison between HR and the owners and to support employee morale through the company. Some of the duties may include but are not limited to:
Involvement in employee discipline procedures
Medical services as needed-ordering medical supplies
Payroll oversight
Policies and procedures
Employee appreciation
Christmas gifts for employees and customers
Heat relief during summer months (*drink coolers, popsicles, cooling towels, etc.)
Working directly with out HR Manager and Assistant
In addition to the above mentioned duties and responsibilities the APM is also the amin contact for any inspections that take place within the facility (safety, insurance, OSHA, etc.)
The APM also works with the General Manager as needed supporting employee and customer relations as well as trade shows and our support of the Hillyard program.
